The modern obsession with "omnipresence"—the idea that to be successful, one must be on every platform, in every meeting, and responsive to every opportunity or request—is not a strategy for growth; it is a blueprint for burnout. True success is defined by intentionality, not activity. I personally find that shifting from "everywhere" to "where it matters" is the ultimate power move. Why? Because: 1. Many professionals fall into the trap of doing what others expect because they confuse visibility with value. The Myth: Being busy equals being important. The Reality: If you are everywhere, you are likely to spread too thin to make a deep impact anywhere. Success is often found in the "quiet work" that happens when you stop performing for the gallery. 2. Expertise is as much about what you say "no" to as what you say "yes" to.
